Challenge: Manage a public relations crisis for Bell-Carter, the nation’s second largest olive processor and one of the Sacramento Valley's largest employers, during an incident of “odor pollution.”
Role: Meet with senior company executives to define the cause of the problem (record-breaking summer heat and faulty plant operations); strategize for crisis communications to manage a storm of community complaints and inquiries from television, radio, and print media.
