Role: Provide planning entitlement services from initial due diligence and meetings with planning department officials to Planning Commission and City Council presentations.

Result: Fast, efficient and cost effective way for Venture Corporation to obtain planning entitlement and community relations services for their fast growing business.

Madera del Presidio Approval Process
Perini Land and Development

Challenge: Achieve planning department and City Council approval along with consensus from the neighborhood to green light the Madera del Presidio housing development. Substantial time and design constraints were imposed on the process.

Role: Facilitate internal and external communications with planning staff and the community while complying with preservation requirements and timing demands.

Result: The 158-home development was approved and constructed.

Pier 1 Historic Rehabilitation
Port of San Francisco

Challenge: Aid the revitalization of the key waterfront property of Pier 1 by evaluating and proposing mitigation for environmental impacts.

Role: Assess impacts of the rehabilitation, accommodating historic qualities and uses on the site, and proposed new development and uses. Allow for Port of San Francisco space and economic needs, seismic and structural upgrades, and public access.

Result: Timely completion of the negative declaration and mitigation monitoring plan.
