This project—which will comprise 150 sorely-need, transit-oriented housing units—presented several unique environmental challenges. Based on our thorough research, remains of a Native American shellmound may be located on the project site. Circlepoint worked closely with the City and Northwest Information Center staff to craft robust yet achievable mitigation measures to protect this important resource. Circlepoint also addressed growing community concern about parking and traffic congestion by presenting the methodology and findings of the transportation analysis to the public at the City Council hearing. Thanks to Circlepoint’s trademark flexibility, diligence, and industry knowledge, the Burlingame City Council unanimously approved the Mitigated Negative Declaration on February 3, 2020.
