Marketing / Proposal Coordinator

We are seeking a full-time Marketing/Proposal Coordinator to join us in our downtown Oakland headquarters office. The position plays a key role in the company’s marketing and business development efforts. This individual works both independently and collaboratively to create high quality marketing materials, including proposals, qualification packages, collateral, and other submittals. The Marketing/Proposal Coordinator strives for quality in all work activities and continually seeks ways to improve and implement new marketing tools, tactics, and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Adobe InDesign to create high quality marketing materials, including proposals, qualifications packages, case studies, award submittals, leave behinds, and collateral
  • Manage the proposal development process, specifically tailoring materials according to each RFP/RFQ’s requirements
  • Coordinate with Business Development Directors, Project Managers, and other internal staff to fulfill all proposal sections, writing and editing text, as needed
  • Develop and follow production schedules, proposal checklists, task assignments, and QA/QC review
  • Coordinate design, production, and shipment of final documents
  • Coordinate with teaming partners to acquire/provide necessary marketing materials
  • Help identify and track new business opportunities and facilitate go/no-go process
  • Work with project team to develop new marketing materials for projects at key milestones

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proposal development experience in the A/E/C industry preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign (graphic design experience a plus)
  • Fluency in Windows and MAC OS
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively and efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Positive attitude and a collaborative spirit
  • Willingness to support projects in any way to ensure successful delivery

Senior Project Manager/Project Manager - Environmental

Circlepoint is seeking an experienced CEQA/NEPA transportation Project Manager to lead and manage high-profile California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) environmental documents throughout California. A full-time position is currently available in our Oakland office. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

The job might be right for you if:

  • You are a client-focused leader who efficiently and effectively prepares and processes NEPA and CEQA transportation environmental review documents, specifically for Caltrans projects.
  • You have a passion for assuming project management responsibilities including: project planning and delivery; strategy development; budget development and management; schedules; quality of products; client service; and staff mentorship and management. The Project Manager will also actively participate in marketing efforts and business development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in preparing or managing NEPA and CEQA environmental documents for transportation projects (for a private consulting company is highly preferred). Candidates must be highly conversant in working with federal, state, and local agencies in environmental review and permitting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in environmental studies, urban planning, technical writing, or an associated field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Exceptional budget and staff management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task and work within allocated budgets and schedules
  • Demonstrated quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) abilities

Senior Associate - Communications

Circlepoint is seeking a full-time Senior Associate to work on-site at the offices of one of our clients in San Jose. The position will play a key outreach role for transit projects in Santa Clara County.

The Senior Associate will be responsible for acting as the liaison between the client and businesses and residents, including creating communications and project-related collateral, responding to public inquiries and concerns in a timely manner, managing multiple deadline driven projects and researching local issues and communities.

Requirements:

  • Approximately 4-5 years of applicable experience

This is a full-time position in our Orange office.

The Director of Business Development co-leads the Southern California Communications practice with the Director of Operations. The Director provides leadership and collaborates with project managers in carrying out the functions and initiatives of the practice while delivering excellent client service.

  • Establish and implement near, mid-term and long-term business development strategies and plans for the group that will meet overall sales and revenue goals.
  • Analyze data, trends and other information to provide strategic advice to executive management.
