Senior Associate

We are seeking a full-time Senior Associate to join us in our Oakland office. The position offers the opportunity to play a key role on projects and campaigns for our public agency clients. Specific tasks include engaging communities, raising awareness of important issues, and promoting positive behavior change. We are looking for someone specifically interested in transportation projects throughout the State of California.

This person will work directly with project managers for all aspects of communications project delivery, including project planning, managing budgets, coordinating with members of the project team, drafting materials, planning and attending events, and working collaboratively with clients on an on-going basis.

Requirements:

  • Approximately four years of related experience in communications, especially in the transportation sector
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism or related field
  • Experience with environmental planning a plus
  • Willingness to travel throughout California for project work
  • Solid background and understanding in providing strategic communications
  • Accomplished writer of business, environmental, and public information materials
  • Client management skills

Assistant Environmental Planner

What we are looking for? We are looking for a full-time experienced, highly motivated and assertive Assistant Planner to join our Environmental Practice in the Oakland office. What you will do in this position? The Assistant Planner will play a supportive role to the Project Manager and/or Principal-In-Charge. This position will be responsible for supporting various roles in the development and publication of environmental documents, including independent drafting of clear and concise CEQA/NEPA document sections that demonstrate a high level of analytical analysis and understanding, conducting research, assisting in document production, and maintaining project files.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in environmental studies, urban planning, technical writing, or an associated field
  • Working knowledge of CEQA fundamentals

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and have a current driver’s license, and access to transportation

Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant helps maintain the CRM database, respond to subconsultant RFI’s from prime teaming partners, coordinate with teaming partners to provide/acquire necessary materials, complete proposal forms, award application, and certification/recertification materials, schedule meetings, manage production of proposals and marketing materials, update company social media content and website information.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred and minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience. A/E/C industry experience preferred.
  • Fluency in Windows and MAC OS
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Vision, Adobe Creative Cloud, Asana, GovWin+Onvia lead tracking software a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Project Coordinator - Communications
